  1. seems like the same 60s military. they rape you, or drug you and rape you, then they abuse you. and then they punish you for being queer. their own psychologies are so fragile they need to commit atrocities to feel macho. they need a few out and proud sissies to show them what real courage is.

  2. “one of the new recruits, was given the call sign ‘Romo’s Bitch’. Other names voted for were ‘Gay Boy’ and ‘Fagmeister’”

And these people are in charge of live munitions and a nation’s security??? I wouldn’t let this moron manage a bag of line of shopping trolleys.

Hopefully he loses his pension, which can be from 50 to 75% of his pay at his highest rank

I dont think he’ll have a lot of time to do what he did while collecting garbage. Maybe he’ll just jump in with the trash.

  3. Another gay interest story that has virtually zero relevance to a UK audience.

If Pink News is so hard up for stories then it might be a better idea to simply publish less news stories each day.

I wish these people would learn to write fcuking English.

“A retired US Navy officer has been censured to allowing a junior to be given anti-gay nicknames.”

And WTF is “hazing” when it’s at home? Sounds like someone running around with an air freshener.

    1. “Hazing” is an American slang term related to fraternity initiations.

    2. I have the impression that ‘hazing’ is the army term for bullying and humiliation in the workplace, dressed up as some kind of character/ team building exercise or for purposes of discipline… a bit like PE for sadists. Sorry, scratch that – a bit like PE.
A while back when I had a summer job cleaning a local barracks, I found two privates being made to sweep the entire quad with a toothbrush. That’s at the milder end of the scale.

  5. And what about Captain Pugwash?! Who can forget Seaman Stains or Roger the Cabin Boy? These Navy types love a gay monicker it seems….

That old chestnut is a complete urban myth. The characters never existed.
