that made me smile! cant see boris johnson officiating at a gay wedding..mind you i probably wouldnt want him to! Well done mr Bloomberg

  2. God Bless Mayor Bloomberg.

  3. Look at bloomberg and coumo, there is one of the top honors to stand before a state and the nation as history makers for civil rights, their grandchildren will love to see their faces in front of new york as heros, of human rights thats something to be proud of fighting bringing joy and happiness, that should have always been in existence and still their is more fairness battles to follow up with, hate groups and bad people never go anywhere and sit out they are too evil for that, they are monsters and want to see other unhappy and harmed, you must never tolerate ther antics nor violence against others, new york must make sure that anyone violating the equal rights laws of fairness is arrested and this will send a message to the other hatemongers who keep trying to start riiots and harrassments, seriuos reprimands is the only thing spiteful malicious, people understand or they keep their mess up get them arrested for harrasment and hate crimes against human rights and equal rights laws

  4. Gay weddings in New York and the end of the gay military ban is great news and worth cheering about, but something of a sideshow distraction with America now on the verge of being economically obliterated and drowned beneath trillions of dollars worth of unrepayable debt…

    1. It’s not a distraction to those getting married. Marriage is how people protect themselves against economic uncertainty; they band together as a couple, forming a larger economic unit than they were as individuals. BTW, the percentage of debt to gross domestic product is currently lower than it was during World War Two. I recall we survived and prospered.

  5. I’ve never been more proud of a Republican in my life!

No matter how a paederast like youself could be proud of such defective Republican, as Mr Bloomberg, the real Republicans never will be proud of you and traitors of Republican family values.

Mr Bloomberg is disgrace for New York – forever……

      Go Fvck yourself!!

  7. Two fairly high profile Public Servants of NYC standing up to be counted not only being supported by the Mayor, but having him officiate at their wedding?

Did someone slip some LSD into my tea? Couple that with DADT being revoked in the military and I am wondering if Aslan revoked America’s visa at the same time or something…

It has taken a long time, but welcome, Mayor Bloomberg et al, to the 21st Century. Please take a brochure and feel free to use the buffet and have a look around at the other delights we have on offer.

  8. hell yes usa! about time some of the union joined the rest of the liberal western world! i really don’t understand the conservative republican issues around gay marriage, it’s allowing further personal liberty, reinforcing separation of church and state and then just think of the economic benefits to the service industry! all these extra weddings that have to be paid for! i thought republicans were all for a small government not interfering in citizens lives and economic growth. i may be British and not fully understand so please enlighten me!

  9. Oh! How lovely is that!

  10. thats great and a very lovely speach however did anyone else notice that they where called John and John if they change last names that could get very confusing

  11. Rich the unoriginal, a bit hypocritical calling someone a paederast, when it is your filthy perverted islamic cult that allows it as well as polygamy, you moron.

  12. Nick, marriage IS indeed a conventional, conservative act. All republicans should support it if they are true conservatives, especially the Tories in the UK.

  13. I wonder, if everyone just ignored Rich ‘the original’ then he wouldn’t get the buzz he does from getting people riled up. He’s a bully who getting his kicks. After all, what he says is just rubbish anyway… What do you think?
