    “New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms”???

A bizarre name for a bizarre group.

Don’t take any notice of them. Haters will continue to hate. The pics coming from right across the state of loving and committed couples and families tying the knot bring a shed of tears to my eyes. Well done New York!

  3. Shouldnt these people be awaiting Christs return? Seriously now…

    1. If Christ is real (not my personal belief) and does return these nutters would nail him straight to another cross.

They are the antithesis of christians.

  5. I don’t agree with Christianity. You don’t see me, however, going around asking for a ban on Christianity.

So, why are these fascists calling for a ban on gay marriage? As art1e said, if you don’t agree with gay marriage, don’t get gay married.

  6. More christofascist bigots wasting their cash on lawyer fees when they could be helping the needy, the hurt, the homeless. Filthy hypocrites.

It’s funny how Republicans have no problems with “activist judges” when they want a decision in their favour.

  10. All these checks and balances are designed so that things that are bad can be changed. I wonder, can they explain exactly how same-sex marriage is bad for them?

One day some of them might realise that we can’t turn people gay. If you believe that, there are no arguments against this left.

  11. obviously gay marriage in New York is fantastic but they should have known, if they did do it wrong, that because of the controversy of it that it would be instantly looked at in all its detail and played so by the book that noone could fault them it would be such a shame if this bill fails on a technicality.

Yes no doubt it was all created by a conspiracy between Wall Street (code for ….) and homintern. A very WASP allegation.

  12. They’re complaining that republic senators were bribed with clandestine campaign pledges? Seriously. Aside from the fact that that’s how american “democracy” works, I somewhat doubt they’d be so upity about this endemic corruption if people were being bribed toward their backward ideological goals. Away play with the buses, god botherers.

  16. This suit doesn’t stand a chance of overturning the law. It was legislated by the peoples’ (voters) representatives and is NOT subject to referendum since there is no process for it in New York State from what I’ve read of its laws. Amazing how so called fake “christians” thrive on messing up other peoples’ lives and spreading hate, the antithesis of what Jesus Christ preached.

Gay New Yorkers ought to bring a counter lawsuit to remove the tax-exempt status of evangelical ministers and their respective cults from meddling in the political process. They’re already in violation of the tax code. Nobody should be exempt from paying taxes, nobody.

So errm we as gay’s have no right for ‘Constitutional Freedom’?…Just in it’s name alone implies ALL Americans regardless of colour, religion or sexuality deserve ‘Constitutional Freedom’!

Hopefully this rediculous thing will go no futher! They really don’t deserve a hearing!
