I don’t think that’s very fair, James! – PN reported the murder very properly, this is a completely different issue. Chilpacingo is nearly 700kms away from Puerto Vallarta, and 200kms from Mexico City – surely you’re not saying an entire country should be avoided because one gay man was murdered, are you? That would be like saying we should all avoid Liverpool because of poor Michael Causer. wouldn’t it? After all, some parts of Mexico are moving surprisingly fast when it comes to gay rights.
I’m a little disappointed to discover in this article that Martin Popplewell, who performed so well in exposing David Cameron’s skin-deep support for LGBT affairs, is attracted to the skin-deep, to expensive hotels and flash resorts where one may encounter fashionistas. I had thought Martin was not impressed by the shallow.
I’ve found that many foreigners had chosen Mexico City for their same sex wedding, but many think that it’s very ‘Vegas style’, the process can take up to 40 days, and there’s a few paperwork to consider. Still it’s smooth if you know your ways around in the city and you come down prepared. Whether you are going to be married or just want to experience an amazing place it is a fabulous city. It is sexy, exciting, and plenty to keep you in awe including the gorgeous mexican men who seem always ready to be friends or more! I go about once a month for the art world there (presently live in Guadalajara) and I leave inspired by the fever pitch that is always there.

What the hell is wrong with this? Quetzalcóatl Leija Herrera was murdered.
