  1. The Bachmanns – hateful Dominionists who think that the US was founded as a christian nation, that christianity is the only valid religion and that the law should be founded on the bible. GLBTQ won’t be the only ones in trouble if the evangelical wingnut wife gets power. As for Marcus Bachmann, take a look at footage of him on Youtube and laugh yourself silly. When people scream that loud about GLBTQ people, they usually have secrets to hide. That her husband swishes when he walks, lisps when he talks, and looks like Truman Capote is the funniest thing that I have seen in a while. I can hear the skeletons rattling from here.

    1. While you may have a point, it’s worth remembering that swishing and/or lisping in themselves aren’t infallible indicators of sexuality. Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen comes to mind, don’t ask me why.

      1. Indeed true. But when you add the mannerisms to the rabid and utterly illogical hatred of GLBTQ people, it tends to ping my Gaydar. Add in the time Michele Bachmann was photographed at a Gay Pride event…except she was observed squatting in the bushes spying on people or looking for someone (look for the pics, they are hilarious) and my Gaydar isn’t just pinging, it is playing the Star-spangled banner.

      2. Those are indicators of mannerism preference, not sexual orientation.

        1. Er…explain ‘mannerism preference’?

    2. As for Marcus Bachmann, take a look at footage of him on Youtube and laugh yourself silly.
No thanks. I have better things to do than to listen to some quack doctor who has turned “gays” into straight who were not meant to be gay in the first place.
Many studies have been done that many people who have changed their sexual orientation suffered from other mental disorders, like multiple personality disorder in which a patient thinks that he is gay or thinks that that he is now straight.

      1. What? Name them so I can read the original research for myself.

  2. Another self loathing homosexual.
Yuck – He’s a vile man and so is his wife.

    1. I disagree.
I hate it when libs think that every raging homophobe is gay. Its silly and stupid.
Most of these people just have repulsion to homosexuality and is as simple as that. Some because of good reasons, others for evil and bad reasons. I think Marcus is just another opportunistic quack who has repulsion of homosexuality for the wrong reasons.

      1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:12am

Actually most homophobes are so because they deep down are so insecure about their own sexuality that they fear it and cause problems for all else. It is down to religion and causes too many problems for the rest of us happy with who we are.
        -
Only true people, happy with their own lifes and sexuality, are completely happy not bothering about everyone elses.
        -
Most homophobes show themselves up by trying to make the point to everyone else they’re not Gay but they put too much effort into it you can’t blame people for questioning why.
        -
I mean who are they trying to convince?
        -
        Me thinks themselves.

      2. @pepa:
        And the good reasons are…?

        1. The drug use, the promiscuity, lack of loving relationships, lack of compassion, lack of spirituality, prostitution, HIV, etc etc…

          1. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:23am

And yet your comment is just as valid to straight people… I know many that complain about all those things but not from the LGBTQ community.
            -
Not denying some have a problem but your world seems to be very limited and tinited.
            -
Maybe it’s time to stop assuming about the LGBTQ community and get to know the facts.

          2. “The drug use, the promiscuity, lack of loving relationships, lack of compassion, lack of spirituality, prostitution, HIV, etc etc…”

You paranoid generalisations can only be laughed at, but in reality belies your own stupidity and ignorance. Why not complete the picture by putting some lunatic website link as “proof” of your bigoted delusions?

          3. None of those examples are especially characteristic of gay people. None of those things is determined solely on the basis of sexual orientation.

          4. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:37am

            Rick
            -
They are in pepa’s circle of friends apparently.

      3. Actually a study done has shown that homophobes are more likely to be aroused by gay porn than non-discriminatory hetrosexuals.

        1. Yes I read that study, it seems to me that the arousal comes from the fact that this is one of the few times and for some homophobes the first time that they see gay porn.
But here is the question: what is a homophobe? If you actually read the entire study you will see that these participants were actually homophobic, meaning they were afraid of homosexuality.
          -
Now many of you use homopbhobe to describe anybody that opposes ANY gay demand for any right or accommodation. If all of these people are in fact “homophobes” than more than half of the planet is gay (according to latest global stats on gay issues) under this logic of homophobia (the term as a used by activists) being an indicator that a person is gay.
The proper term I prefer is anti-gay than homophobia or homophobe.

          1. “But here is the question: what is a homophobe?”

            You.

  3. These two always bring the LOLz don’t they?

It’s a very scary thought that she could be in office next time around if the Tea Party nutjobs have it their way.

    1. So wanting our country to get back in order is something only nutjobs want to do?
I can only imagine what you libs/cons would want to do to our country, screw it up even more.

      1. Get a grip Pepa! Once again your holier than thou attitude shows you up for what you really are.

Wanting to cure gays, wanting to put a stop to gay marriage (something that is only really likely to change the lives of gay people who want to get married), saying black children would be better off in slavery than in today’s America – that’s what these nutjobs are advocating. They are not trying to get your country back in order, they are trying to set your country back hundreds of years.

        1. So you are saying that most popular political movement in America believes that? Because this is the same percentage of voters that agreed with the Tea Party, I being one of them.
          -
I disagree with the notion of changing sexual orientation, though it can happen but I stated above how it is being misinterpret.
I approve of gay marriage, but most gays do not, they want polygamy and even support it. Most gays do not want a sexually exclusive monogamous relationship. Until this attitude changes I’m not going to take this whole “marriage equality” bruhaha seriously.
          Its that simple.

          1. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:30am

You must correct yourself pepa, most gay people YOU KNOW do not support marriage Equality, that want polgamy.
            -
In This country, not in the US most support marriage Equality and I’ve not heard anyone support or even refer to polgamy.
            -
Polgamy is a weak persons attempt at justifying their own bigotry because it has nothing to do with two people loving each other. You use as a diversion.
            -
A lot of men weither staright or Gay don’t want exclusive monogamous relationship but plenty, including myself do and indeed are in one.
            -
Maybe it’s your attitude that needs to change (and clearly your choice of friends).

      2. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 2:44pm

“So wanting our country to get back in order is something only nutjobs want to do?”
        -
Well if you include yourself in that then I would have to say yes!

        1. Call me whatever you want… You hurt my feelings! I think I might lose sleep tonight!
Here is the thing smelly jockstrap, if and when I meet my maker when I pass on, I will have a clean conscience knowing that I refuse to be a part of a movement that wants to sexualize children as young as five, and to show them how to have anal sex as young as 11. You see jockstrap, I’m not a sex addict perv. I view the world and my community differently than you. I mean just taking a look at your SN shows to me that you are person that is driven by the most primitive impulses of sex. I’m not saying that sex is bad, it is beautiful, hence I don’t degrade it like YOU or pervert it with little kids.
Oh jocky if only you knew what people actually think about when they see your SN… I mean don’t you have any shame or decency?

          1. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:34am

And yet again your the ONLY person saying this is whats happening. You won’t let it go no matter how many time people he say your wrong.
            -
Your obsession with children and sex is disturbing and disgusting pepa, you need help you sick bastard!

          2. And your expressed sentiments that gay people are all drug users, prostitutes, incapable of loving relationships, lack compassion, spirituality, and are child abusers are not at all hurtful or offensive to anyone of course.

  4. This is just all very depressing!!! Why does there seem to be so many people in the USA who hate us?!? I really don’t get it!! And why are they allowed to be mainstream politicians?!? And before people rant about freedom of speech, that’s a lot of nonsense. Racist politicians would never become mainstream.

    1. Freedom of speech is never nonsense.
You brits need to know something about freedom… oh wait… you kiss and lick the boots of your degenerate, incestuous, murderous, queen. Okay.

      1. Sheesh Pepa why did you say all those terrible things about their Queen? She doesn’t make any laws, it’s their Parliment. We should have more laws against the hatred that is spewed by our right wing – though, it would interfere with our rights in the US Constitution about freedom of speech. If we didn’t have the delegate system we wouldn’t have to see most of these hateful right wing politicians. It’s too bad we don’t have the popular vote to win the US Presidency. I read that a man posted homophobic posters in London and he was arrested. Here in the USA they can do that because of freedom of speech. It’s a fine line to walk and sometimes I wish we had the same laws regarding that as in the UK. No need to insult their monarchy.

        1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:15am

Esp when the UK is probably more democratic than the US.

          1. LOL.
You don’t even elect the Lords and the PM and Mr Cameron backed away from his promise for having a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty which most britians want, and you have the audacity to make such an ass out of yourself? Oh lord! LOL.
            -
Jockstrap, I can see why you chose that god awful SN, because where you really belong is next to a man’s crotch, not engage in intellectual political discussions.

          2. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:41am

Shows how much you don’t know about the UK.
            -
Actually the referendum was promised twice by the last Labour government. It was in their manifestos yet they broke those promises and whilst knowing Mr Cameron voice his support for such a referedum then rushed to sign the Lisbon Treaty even though it went against most of other countries wishes.
            -
You bang on about the Lords but other than your Republicans and Democrats what exactly do you have that is more democratic? coz it certainly ain’t choice.
            -
Also if all you can control, or try to, is over someones name you are the only one making a complete tit of yourself.
            -
Do try to keep up and maybe get to know a few facts and stop assuming you know everything when it is quite clear you know nothing!

      2. Pepa, you really should restrict your comments to things you actually do know about, rather than things you can only speculate about. And if you can’t, then you should really think twice about what you say.

The UK is way more democratic than the US and we have way ore freedom than the US. We have way less tolerance for right-wing nutjobs and are far less likely than americans to vote them into positions of power. We’ve done a far better job at separating church from state and although we still have a way to go and still have new battles to fight, on the whole our population seems less open to the ritualised brainwashing that seems so prevalent in american society.

        1. Are you really that serious? You talk about “freedom.” Freedom for what?
You are not even allowed to protest in front of the parliament, you get arrested for expressing your free speech if you “offend” others. Now the EU wants to ban petrol cars in London,, and even a former head of MI5 had to admit that YOUR country is nothing more than a police state.
          FREEDOM? LOL… LOL… LOL
I really had the most loud laugh with this one… I mean… LOL

          1. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:47am

Actually pepa you just proved JohnS point.
            -
We are allowed to protest in front of our Parliament.
            -
There was a brief moment in time when Labour banned protests unless people had permission but it was one of the first things David Cameron removed giving back the right and freedom.
            -
I fail to see how banning petrol cars from a city is anything to do with Freedom when people lives can be saved and I fail to see how having protection to stop others hatred is wrong.
            -
Of course we all know the US version of events – Land of the Free – What a Frackin Joke!
            -
May I suggest you take not of JohnS’s comment and take note coz you just look ridiculous.

          2. Oh, look. More of Pepa’s LOL’s. They make his argument so intelligent, don’t they?

      3. “…engage in intellectual political discussions.” Yeah, like you’ve demostrated such finesse in that direction so far in this dialogue.

        1. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:40am

All pepa does is get angry and go on about ‘gay militants’ and ‘gay agendas’…
          -
He clearly know more than us Gay people do, he’s so wise and full of knowledge…. Not!
          -
          Full of crap more like!!

  5. She’s the same hypocrite and bigot who campaigns against government handouts, yet her husband benefited from federal funds to support his cure the gay practice and her father in law received government farm subsidies. If she gets the endorsement of the republican party, it will prove that the American electorate is dumber than we thought.

    1. Voting for only democrats and republicans, and people voting for the same elite that screw us over worse and worse from both parties is a real sign that the electorate is even dumber that you imagine.
And what is even dumber is the gay electorate. President Barry is against gay marriage YET every gay leader tells us to vote for that muppet, even though these same leaders tell us that being against gay marriage is hate…
      This is really dumb.

      1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:18am

“Voting for only democrats and republicans”
        -
And yet you continuously bitch about how much less of a democracy the UK is.
        -
It seems it is the US that is fair less of a democracy than the UK which has many parties for people to vote for and three main parties.

        1. Pretty naive statement.
The fact is that my country is not better than yours. They are both control by the same interests, so cut this holly than thou attitude.
          -
We also have more parties here, I belong to a third party that is very similar to UKIP. But its the same crap, you are only allowed to vote for labour or the tories, and the lib dems are a whole different story, the thing is that ALL three parties in your country support bailouts, war, giving welfare to the super rich, etc etc, your policies of the major parties are not refreshing nor different from the GOP or the Democrats.

          1. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:50am

That comment just proved you know nothing about the UK or it’s politics.
            -
Congratulations, you just made yourself look more of a dickhead than I thought possible.
            -

  6. What horrible people, the fact that she is even in politics is a feat in it’s own.

  7. I can just imagine the scene.

Self loathing gay subject breaks down in tears. Mr Bachmann puts a reassuring arm around him. His hand works his way up to the patient’s neck. He strokes it comfortingly. “Dry your tears, son…”

    1. Again with the self loathing crap.
That would mean that there are more homophobic “closeted” gays who hate themselves than there are those who are openly gay and accept themselves… that doesn’t make sense.

      1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:19am

And yet you seem to have so many homophobes who end up being found with rent boys…

        1. Quite so JST, and heterosexuals who are comfortable and confidently at ease with their own sexual orientation don’t have the need to create a smokescreen for themselves by pointing at others.
There is certainly an element of self denial, shame and self-loathing behind anti-gay rhetoric and actions as an attempt to suppress their own same sex attractions however strong or slight that these homophobic people obviously feel as a result of various types of social and religious indoctrination.

          1. “Again with the self loathing crap.”

And we’re being told THAT by Pepa?????

          2. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 2:47pm

            Indeed, Will.
            -
The words Pot and Kettle spring to mind.

          3. @ Will,
Among the most stupidest statements that you fascist say on here, this one tops it.
Please tell me where have I deny my sexual orientation. If anything you are denying gay people to be who they are… YOU are self loathing… YOU hate the fact that there are gay people like myself who doesn’t agree with your pseudo logic, nor your hypocrisy. You just hate to see gay men who are not promiscuous, who are independent and are not ashamed of their beliefs that are against YOURS.
You have proven to be a self loathing christophobe who probably is christo-curious. LOL.
On a serious note, you turned to be the very same bigot you supposedly fight against.

          4. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:54am

OMG – that has to be the biggest load of sh!t pepa has come out with yet.
            -
There’s nothing worse than a self loathing person who pretends to be Gay to try and degrade all of the LGBT community.
            -
Pepa – you truely do add meaning to a new form of lowlife.

          5. “mong the most stupidest statements that you fascist say on here, this one tops it.”

            Yawn.
            “YOU are self loathing…”

            Stupid statement.
“YOU hate the fact that there are gay people like myself who doesn’t agree with your pseudo logic”
Even more ridiculous than the last.
“You just hate to see gay men who are not promiscuous”
I do? I’m sure you have loads of proof of that, especially as you obsess about children and sex…. in a word, creepy.
“You have proven to be a self loathing christophobe who probably is christo-curious”
            Stupid comment.
“you turned to be the very same bigot you supposedly fight against.”

            Histrionic.

Brava on the hissy fit of nonsense. You are quite the clown, Pepa. A pathetic one at that.

          6. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:41am

            Will, Indeed, best comment yet!

        2. Oh please Jockey.
You want to sexualize boys… you should happy for these homophobes.

          1. Jock S. Trap 13 Jul 2011, 9:51am

            Another libellous comment from pepa.
            -
            It’s not even shocking anymore.
            -
You really are the pits pepa.

          2. “You want to sexualize boys… you should happy for these homophobes.”

Are lies the mainstay of fools these days? Because that all you are Pepa:- a liar and a fool.

          3. “You really are the pits pepa.”

That is an understatement Jock, he’s a repugnant fool who’s only recourse is to make paedophilia remarks/insults about others to hide his obsession with sex with children. He is nothing short of vile. I have scratched things off my shoe that have more decency, intelligence, and grasp on reality, than this paedophile bottom feeder.

          4. Christophobe? Interesting word. Is it used to silence and close honest debate and legitimate questioning and critical analysis of your religious beliefs like the word islamophobia often is?

          5. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:51am

            Classic projection Will.

          6. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:52am

I meant pepa’s comments… didn’t want you to think I meant you there, Will! ;)

  8. He’d know and he sound like the teacher in south park

    1. Oh, he’s just SPARKLY!! xxxxx

      1. So gay and his wife thinks black people were better under slavery

        1. Whoopie Goldberg and the other gals of The View went off on Michele Bachman this morning about that very subject:

          http://tinyurl.com/6f7932v

          1. Thank you Dana, enjoyed that clip.

          2. You’re welcome, Pavlos. I enjoyed it too.

    2. Stuart Neyton 11 Jul 2011, 4:54pm

ahahahaah my favourite comment “i’m guessing he just sucks the gay out of his patients”

    3. 100% … No doubt about it GAY.

      1. “A recording has also emerged of Mr Bachmann calling gays “barbarians … who need to be educated, need to be disciplined””
I think I know what he’s driving at… I love it when he talks dirty! Spank me, spank me!
Give it 6 months and he’ll be doing a ‘Haggard’

  9. Burn the witch.

No, on a more serious note, burn the witch…

  10. The man is as gay as a box of birds! Those who demonize homosexuality the most are the ones most likely to be hiding their own orientation within their closets.
She knows it, and also knows that denying it only gets her votes within the bigot community.

    1. So those who oppose terrorism are terrorists themselves?
      I don’t get it.
Simply put, just accept the fact that there are a lot of people who really don’t like gays and that’s that. Instead of calling them gay and making gay people look like we fight against our own, just counter their arguments and move on.
But in this case, when you deal with quackery just ignore it and save your breath.

      1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:22am

Yet they can’t stop thinking about same sex sex can they?
        -
Or why keep bangin on about it? (Unfortunate choice of word I know but hey-Ho!) (Ohh another…)

      2. Well I would count Bush as a terrorist so yes

  11. These people are proof that the crazy Christians are trying to take over the US government and rule the US using the bible, they are insane. Gays are born gay created by god and these fools are killing gay kids with their failed religion and psychiatry. These people need to be stopped.

    1. Hard to do when they start the brainwashing their kids at such a young age:

      http://tinyurl.com/68ou6r4

      1. Oh so when they pass on their religous traditions is brainwashing… but forcing children in the classroom to love gay sex is not brainwashing?
        Wow.
Either we allow all brainwashing, or we don’t. But gay sex activists want to have their cake and eat it too.

        1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:24am

          Religion Lifestyle is a choice.
          -
Being Gay, Lesbian is not. That we are born.
          -
Religion and all it’s bigotries are taught, forced on people.

        2. Get a grip Pepa, blimey! Forcing children in the classroom to love gay sex??

Who on earth is doing that?? No-one is being forced to do anything. Rather, children are being taught that there’s more to life than heterosexuality and that, yes, that’s OK!

And what exactly is a gay sex activist?

You need to put down your bible for a little while and see what’s actually going on around you.

        3. “but forcing children in the classroom to love gay sex is not brainwashing?”

Sounds to me like YOU’RE the only one here who spends a disproportionate amount of time thinking about THAT delightful image.

        4. Explain how inclusive sex education is ‘forcing’ children to love gay sex? How is force involved exactly in education? In simple terms education is providing information to enable someone to make an informed judgement. This means presenting and allowing different perspectives and ideas to be explored. How is that comparable to what you call brainwashing, which is a different matter entirely to the purpose and function of education?

I think pepa is low on intelligence, I mean he is a Republican and an ex member of the Tea Party.
            -
            Need I say more?

      2. @Dana,
She’s learnt how to perform for them and to please her parents to get their approval and to get them off her back, poor little kid.

        1. Agree, Pavlos. Felt so sorry for that little girl. Now contrast that video with this one of a little boy who encounters his first gay married couple. He manages to figure out in a couple minutes what fundamentalist Christians haven’t been able to figure out for centuries. Amazing in it’s simplicity:

          http://tinyurl.com/6exkg89

    2. Now this is insane.
You call every Christian “crazy” an propose a conspiracy theory that they are trying to take over the government, and impose a theocratic state. In other words a coup de tat.
Then of course your bigotry doesn’t end there, you then have the audacity of attacking religion and then saying that gay people were created by god…
      Such lunacy.

      1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:26am

Yeah, how dare we stand up for ourselves and ‘attack’ religion.
        -
It’s not like they’ve been doing it to us for centuries, is it?
        -
Only difference is we’re not killing religious people for being religious.

      2. “Now this is insane.”

We’ll defer to your obvious expertise by association on this one, but don’t let it go to your head(s)

      3. Attacking religion? Thats a strong word pepa but doesnt that come under freedom of speech and were you not extolling the virtues of the very same a few comments back? I question and criticise alot of things about religion certainly and I think rightly so as a thinking human being who sees its logical inconsistencies, and the many ways that it fosters and promotes prejudice, fear and hate. But is questioing, constructively criticising, engaging in and opening dialogue the same as attacking? Can you outline the basis on which you suppose that gay people were not created by God. If God is all powerful, and gay people exist, why doesnt God just get rid of them all if God doesnt like them? God could do that couldn’t he if he is all powerful and can do anything, so why doesn’t he make us all disappear if he hates us so much?

        1. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:56am

Indeed Rick, an excellent comment and one I’m sure pepa will have problems with.

  12. Alf N. Spit 11 Jul 2011, 7:06pm

Talking of anti-gay Christians, has anyone noticed that the Equalities Commission has applied to support Lilian Lilian Ladele and co. in the European Court, according to Guardian coverage of the CofE Synod. Looks like perhaps our right not to be discriminated against is being sacrificed on the altar.

    1. Just get out of the EU. There problem solved.

    2. The vile Andrea Minichiello Williams of the Christian Legal Centre, who represented Lillian Ladele in court, is also a lay member on the CofE Synod.

      1. Ooer missus 12 Jul 2011, 11:40am

Pressure from the Evangelical Alliance appears to hve bee the catalyst.

  13. She also has a step sister who happens to be gay!

    1. Maybe that might have something to do with it?

  14. Alf N. Spit 11 Jul 2011, 7:14pm

“Judges have interpreted the law too narrowly in religion or belief discrimination claims, the Equality and Human Rights Commission has said in its application to intervene in four cases at the European Court of Human Rights involving religious discrimination in the workplace.
If given leave to intervene the Commission will argue that the way existing human rights and equality law has been interpreted by judges is insufficient to protect freedom of religion or belief.”

    1. off topic…

    2. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:28am

It is one to keep an eye on Alf N. Spit.
      -
I thought the EU was supposed to be for total Equality so…

  15. Jen Marcus 11 Jul 2011, 7:21pm

People like Bachmann, the” bible thumpers” on the religious right, and the unaware and ignorant “tools” in the Tea and the Republican Party that pander to the greedy, rich and powerful in the United States will destroy its middle class, the poor and ultimately the United States government itself!

    1. Both parties pander to the elite. I mean the real elite, not your regular businessman who worked hard for his money. I’m talking about the real controllers of this country, the bankers, wall street and the Federal reserve. Liberals have let them rob this country to the hilt, and of course you Jen decide to look the other way and instead chose to go after “bible thumpers” and those who want to live a comfortable life.
      Do your homework.

      1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:32am

Yet very often where there’s religion there is a downfall, greed, bigotry, corruption and discrimination.

      2. Jen Marcus 12 Jul 2011, 6:04pm

Pepa,OK so you take one piece of information involving several US administrations and that is your sole evidence?Yes, both parties pander to the super rich to get elected and with the SCOTUS ruling in the “Citizens United” case the situation is getting much worse. But historicaly, the Democrats have been more sensitive to the plight of the poor and the middle class alia Roosevelt than the Republicans. In this global economy the rich operate with impunity with no boundries People like Murdock monopolize and control mass communication and feed the masses their toxic sound bite rhetoric, think Fox News that brainwash poor “smucks” like people in the “Tea Party” and the “bible thumpers” who the “blue bloods” in the Republican Party laugh at! How do I know this? I have been intimately involved in US law, politics economics and the government longer than I suspect you have been alive.Regretably, with high unemployment a bloody class war may be soon ensue.God Help Us! Do your homework!

    2. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:31am

Too many gaffs by the Tea Party just make them a laughing stock.
      -
As for the Republican’s…. still a joke.
      -
Hears hoping Obama gets another 4 years, at least he leave the rest of the world alone.
      -
Get a Republican, Get a country poking it’s nose where is ain’t wanted.

  16. Alf N. Spit 11 Jul 2011, 7:23pm

So how do we get PN or anyone to look into the fact that the Equalities Commission is going to apparently be supporting the right of people not to perform CP’s for us, to turn us away from hotels etc, purely on the basis of their subjective ‘religious’ belief.

    1. Religious concience is code for homophobia.

      1. Homophobia is code for not letting gay sex activists implement their true agenda of destroying families and gay relationships.

        1. Pepa – one swallow doesn’t make a spring, and one lone radical nutcase doesn’t equal a universal gay agenda. Don’t presume to speak for the rest of us who aren’t ashamed to be gay.

          1. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:46am

            Here! Here! flapjack!

          2. And of course he provides such credible internet references for us all to read. Sure, nothing said on the internet by social rejects with delusions of persecutions could be false, could it?

          3. Quite Will – I’m always suspicious of anyone who sites chapter and verse of “the gay agenda”. I’ve been gay for years and if there is such a thing nobody shared it with me.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that link is an alarmist red herring manufactured and diseminated by the evangelical right, but even if it’s not the idea that all gays seek to destroy straight people’s families is something which only a bunch of radical fringe nutcases and homophobes would buy into.
Gays come from straight families. What’s in it for us?

          4. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 2:52pm

Indeed the ‘agenda’ thing is always rolled out when things ain’t going the way they want.
            -
I think it’ll done to try and stifle debate and conversation.
            -
            Does it mean anything? No
            -
Is it going to stop us debating? No
            -
Is it going to make us see pepa in a new light not the jackass he actually is? Hell No!! He’ll always be a Jackass as we all know.

        2. @pepa:
Really…can’t you find anything more recent and relevant than an outdated document from 1972?

          1. The Gay Liberation Manifesto 1972 you linked to pepa has some very worthwhile material in it that still makes a lot of sense still, as well as certain ideas that fix it securely in a vanished past, talk of gay communes for example.
We have moved on some since 1972.
            http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1751204/posts

          2. You know he can’t, nor does he need to – the man is obviously barking mad or a schizophrenia sufferer.

          3. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 2:56pm

            Yep, it’s so very sad.

          4. Jock S. Trap 17 Jul 2011, 8:57am

            I think pepa is desperate.

        3. You know pepa, for someone that claims to be gay you sure pull out alot of anti gay punches and rhetoric that supports and promotes prejudice, fear and hatred of gay people.

  17. Alf N. Spit 11 Jul 2011, 7:26pm

Why isn’t the ditching of gay equality by the Equalities Commission a story on PN? What are commissioner Angela Mason’s views on this?

  18. “…. everyone is heterosexual but some people have “challenges”. ”

Uh huh. Seems like many homophobes give themselves away without even meaning to. They feel so threatened by gay people because they sense that same sex attraction deep down within themselves and transfer their self-hate onto others.
How either of these people got into positions of power is beyond me.

    1. Idiots vote for idiots, it seems Iris. Makes them feel less threatened if a politician speaks the same kind of garbage they do.

      1. Is that why the idiots of Ireland voted for the Lisbon Treaty? I bet that really helped your economy out huh Will?
        LOL.
Then Will will come crying to his messiah Obama (Barry) for a quick bailout, after his boss David Cameron gives him and his fledgling republic the finger.

        1. Well, that “LOL” really made me think, cheers.

And if you had even one shred of edcuation above what you read ion the National Enquirer, you’d know the EU or the Lisbon Treaty caused the economic situation in Ireland. Your stupidity is only matched by your insanity and dull wit.

“Then Will will come crying to his messiah Obama (Barry) for a quick bailout”

I’m utterly flattered that you think I’d run Ireland, perhaps one day.

          1. Correction “you’d know the EU or the Lisbon Treaty did not cause the economic situation in Ireland.”

    2. Though mental as anything they dress reasonably and manage to look presentable, I guess that’s all it takes.

    3. It’s a simple mistake, but he got it backwards; “[...] everyone is homosexual but some people have challenges.”

    4. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:48am

      Indeed.
      -
The fact these people hate others so much it stands to reason that they much hate themselves more so.

  19. someone needs to enslave her and her family for a few generations and then ask them how “stable” they feel. and this is America lady.. separation of church and state, freedom of religion.. ring any bells? take your hate speech and go fall in a well.

  20. I watched a video of Marcus Bachmann a while back. My gaydar overloaded and hasn’t been the same since.

This is just a repeat of George Rekkers the reparative therapist who claimed he could cure gay and transsexual children in his clinic. He was photographed in an airport coming back from holiday with a rent boy.

It is clear the same thing will happen with this guy eventually.

    1. If that’s the case, let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later.

    2. Anyone sitting on proof of scandal will wait until at least the primaries – it’ll be worth a lot more money that way. I would be astonished if one or both of the Bachmann’s didn’t have some serious skeletons in the closet that will prevent her being a serious candidate. And Palin has proved that you don’t have to win a thing to slurp up PAC money and book deals. I’m tempted to say that the RNC will end up having a word with her, warn her that she will get knobbled if she doesn’t endorse their candidate of choosing. She’s a wild card with appalling judgement, the whole situation is just begging to become an utter F up for the GOP.

  21. Robin Evans 11 Jul 2011, 11:22pm

my boyfriend wants to know if Bachmann bulk bills australian homos lol what a joke these american christian crackpots are eh!

    1. and I guess your Australian atheist Prime Ministers fare much better right?

  22. Stop it, pepa! The joke has gone far enough. Your bare bottom will get such a hard spanking if you carry on like this. And you know how much you’ll hate that.

  23. Jock S. Trap 12 Jul 2011, 8:06am

Why and how do such pathetically stupid people get to such positions in power?
    -
    It makes no sense.
    -
Such a damaging person need to be put out for the pigeons have have no role in a modern, decent society.
