And dont let the doorknob hit you where the good Lord split you on the way out the closet.

christians – sometimes I think that should become the most vile and horrible swear word in our language.

Good, two less bigots to deal with, making our lives and struggle for equality that much easier.

    Post a reply →
    1. Well not sure that they won’t have to be dealt with – they just won’t be part of the Church of Scotland

  4. They should try putting some salve on their burning bushes, no wonder they’re sore.

Let them leave. They obviously feel this is the all accepting loving CHRISTIAN thing to do.

  6. Oh goody, more people to argue with. Who are they to think they should stand between God and those whom he has called? Hypocrites.

    Post a reply →
    1. Leave ‘god’ out of it. ‘God’ has nothing to do with religions. Religions are businesses which don’t pay tax. That’s how they should be regarded.

      Post a reply →
      1. God has little to do with religions, but quite a lot to do with the religious. Church-goers can be persuaded that their opinions are wrong, and thereby does their church change.

  7. What exactly are they waiting on — financial support from Brian Souter?

  8. Good news…. a fragmented church is a weak church. Let them spend more time squabbling and less time persecuting others.

So let the bigotted assholes go and good riddance.
Clearly they’re not needed and I’m actually sure people will join knowing the facts too just as they’re leaving.

  10. Go! Run! And be careful the door doesn’t hit you in the ass as you leave.

  11. Excellent news.

I love how this issue is massively damaging the church in Scotland.

Scotland will be a better place with less religious influence.

  12. get rid of the bigotry and racism out of all of your organizations, and stop allowing racist gangs and bigoted clicks , to harm children and famiilies , the evil assaulters who like to hurt and discriminate against people are the people you want out, you need to always represent humainty and human rights, and equal rights , treat other like you want to be treated, the scottish people needs to continue to stand for humanity and human rights for the masses of people and not the racism of a few rogue gang of false prophets, no real minister can walk in hatred and bigotry and ever be a real christian, is this nation brainwashed by the masses , wake up, and fight back with back bone of civil rights, and stop taking down to bigotry, you are responisble for children and families lives violated and deaths of terrorism of other like women in all colors racism and glass ceilings, murder and rape, racism and bigotry has blood spilled from coast to coast and it must be stopped, stopped it now

    Turn them into homeless homophobes!

“…the Supreme Court of Canada refused four breakaway congregations leave to appeal a B.C. trial court ruling against them in a property dispute.”

The term “scripture truths” is an oxymoron.

On you go congregation you should not be made to sit in front of a gay minister when your religion says homosexuality is wrong this would not in amillion years happen in somewhere like a mosque and before people think im a bible basher im a gay man that does not belive in organized religion

  16. No church appears to have broken away yet, I wonder what’s keeping them.

    All talk and no trousers.
