Shes a damn good actress, thats whats so impressive about her.

      2. She out in an industry and a country that still considers being out an issue for actors/actresses. That’s what is so impressive. The opposite end of the same spectrum is that freak Tom Cruise that has to dance on a couch to oppose rumours that he’s gay.

I’ve never watched glee. But I agree Will. Any actor/actress who is out of the closet should be celebrated by all of us. It virtually ruins your career being out in hollywood, so I take my hat off to the woman, whoever she is.

Its not only her but the entire cast and all of the creators of “Glee” that have done something. They have taken on, head on, homophobia, bigotry, hatred, and bullying in the schools. And they have done a damned fine job of it at that. In addition they provide wonderful entertainment and musical talant while their doing it. If you are not familiar with this outstanding comedy series, do yourself a favor and tune it. You’ll be glad you did.

Daniel, I agree! She’s superb and an excellent role model for women struggling with their orientation. WIthout her, I think Glee wouldn’t have been the success it was and still is.

See! If Rich (the troll) hate’s her, then there must be something outstanding and wonderful about her and all of the cast of Glee!

What is special about Jane, beyond being a rather fun to watch character actress, is that she is out, she is married, and she is recognised. The emmy’s are also watched by a large number of people. This helps more people see gay people as real people and not just the villains of their ignorant preachers and politicians agenda.

  9. I am so glad that Jane is getting the recognition that she deserves. She is such a terrific actress and by being “herself” off the camera by being opening gay, only makes her even more endearing.

    Great choice for host Emmys!
