She not only shocked herself by coming out. She also shocked the LGBT community.
Hollywood stars are notoriously cowardly when it comes to actually coming out. Despite the fact that they work in a very gay friendly industry and earn loads of money, they seem to think that coming out will daamge their careers.
And they usually want double standards to apply to the press when reporting on their personal lives.
Beyonce Knowles’s private life is reported on openly in the press (despite her not courtingn the attention) whereas Jodie Foster is not.
So well done Wanda – you have a lot more class than the likes of Jodie Foster; John Travolta; Queen Latifah; Kevin Spacey etc.
I’ve seen some of her work on YouTube & she’s hilarious.She’s entirely right when she says she shouldn’t have to be demanding the same rights as the hetty community simply take for granted.none of us should have to do that! Far as I’m aware,she’s always been a strong advocate for LGBT rights even before she ‘outed’ herself So it shouldn’t make any difference now she is ‘out’!
