Good stuff. The Vomet (as we used to call it light-heartedly) always was a cut above most local papers then I lived up there, in Kingston. Well done. And how nice to see a set of comments devoid of the whingeings of bitter old queens.

Brilliant, and I hope it creates a real splash locally. Local papers in Britain are usually so God-awful dreary.
Yeah, a splash of colour, pink in this case, doesn’t do anyone any harm… If only my local paper did something like this!!!
