A fundraising event for gay charity Stonewall will be held at the Paramount Club in London next week.

Next Friday’s event, to be held at the top of the Centre Point Tower, aims to raise money for the charity’s Education for All campaign, which tackles anti-gay bullying in schools.

Now in its third year, the party has raised nearly £30,000 and hopes to raise more this year.

Organiser Tom Winchester said: “When you think that two-thirds of gay and lesbian teenagers have experienced homophobic bullying personally, you realise how big the problem is. The campaign works to change that and to help create a Britain where all gay teenagers can be themselves.”

He added: “The Centre Point tower is a stunning venue and the 360 degree views across London are absolutely unbelievable As always, the DJ lineup is amazing, and this year we have some really wonderful raffle prizes, including a five-star VIP trip for two people in Thailand worth £3,500.”
