The Civil Union Bill 2011 passed the House (vote: 67-11), now heads towards the Senate Committee and Senate Floor where it is expected to pass.
The 3 bills, namely the Civil Marriage Equality And Religious Freedom Bill 2011, Domestic Partnership Responsibilities Bill 2011 and the Constitutional Amendment (Definition OF Marriage) Bill 2011 all lapsed due to a lack of support in both the Senate Committee and the House Committee!!!!
