Giant card and demonstration call on Prince William and Kate Middleton to support gay marriage 89
6:45 PM — Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell and the Equal Love campaign have presented Prince William and Kate Middleton a wedding card that calls for their support for gay marriage. The giant card, which was handed into Buckingham Palace by scores of supporters read: "We wish you a happy life together. You can get married, gay people can't."

Man, 18, arrested over east London anti-gay stickers 227
4:00 PM — An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with homophobic stickers plastered around London's east end. The teenager, from Leamouth, was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence yesterday, police said.

3:48 PM — A lesbian couple claim that a hotel manager in Brighton barred them from staying in a room together because they are lesbians. Rebecca Nash and Hope Stubbings, from Andover, claim that the manager of the Brunswick Square Hotel called them "rejects" when they complained.

Tyler Clementi, an 18-year-old student at Rutgers University in New Jersey, jumped to his death last September after Dharun Ravi, 19, allegedly filmed him and showed the footage to classmates.
