Gay men vote Nick Clegg ‘sexiest party leader’

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has been voted the sexiest UK party leader in a poll of gay men.

Forty-two per cent of the 1,100 men surveyed by gay networking group Jake said Mr Clegg, who famously confessed to sleeping with “no more than 30 women”, was the hottest leader.

Prime minister and Conservative leader David Cameron got 13 per cent of the vote, while Labour leader Ed Miliband scraped just nine per cent.

Ivan Massow, who runs Jake, joked to the Sunday Times: “I admit that Clegg is a nice-looking man. I’m attracted to submissive partners.”

However, just 22 per cent of the men surveyed said they would vote for the Liberal Democrats if an election was held tomorrow.

Thirty-six per cent said they would vote Conservative and 34 per cent said they would vote Labour.
