I’m nearly sixty and my partner’s nearly fifty, and we love it; it’s fun.

  3. Love it or hate it…it gives LGBT visibility and pushes the boundaries of TV and perception of diversity. Kids are watching it and their world expands. Priceless. Seeing all those tender and of course camp moments makes my heart sing. How could somebody possibly hate that?

  4. It appears GLAAD only concentrates on US programs. Wouldn’t it be better if gay characters / story lines the world over were judged? What a show it would be then…

  5. Glee had an episode this winter where the moral was basically “Male bisexuality doesn’t exist.”

    Increasing understanding my ass.

I like GLEE!, it’s cute like a puppy. But I love Modern Family because it is GENIUS. A tie sounds like appeasement.

Another note: “I Love You, Phillip Morris” was a piece of JUNK. All the best GLBT films come from abroad, and many are made for British TV. Be sure to check out “Christopher and His Kind” from BBC, it’s a gorgeous adaptation of stories from Christopher Isherwood’s Berlin Diaries.

My main problem with GLEE even though I love it is that the lesbians are the straight persons dream of what a lesbian is and the gay guys are the camp stereotype.
