  2. They’ve done what our government did, downgrade legal same-sex marriages to domestic partnerships (civil partnerships). How regressive and insulting does it get? What a screwed up country. To think the U.S. was once the leader of the civil rights movement and now look at it, the foot-dragging trailer. A very sad day for equality in America.

    1. Yep and this is why I will accept nothing less than marriage equality. This does nothing less than divorce married couples and make their relationship second-class. I married in Canada and I am not accepting a travesty like this.
