It is a grey area for the public servants until the law is clarified – Whilst the DOMA is still active there needs to be clarification otherwise they risk litigation from same sex partners or from those who oppose equalisation of views on relationships. It seems reasonable until those that provide the legal framework get their act together that an abeyance be put in place. Hope the law is clarified very soon
