Actually, the opposite of homosexuality is denial.

Well would they care to define precisely what the aim of the ap is? And what the purpose of the organisation is?

Cos at the moment they seem to be trying to f’ck with people’s heads and that shouldn’t be allowed.

    1. So perhaps the whole gay agenda should be shelved as well thing, as it is doing the very same thing….

      2. LU, do you just pick the same words and rearrange them each time you come in here? Repetitive, aren’t we?

Lets look at this logically, shall we??

        1. There is no “gay agenda”. This is the paranoid delusions of the stupid and the ignorant.

        2. What gay people want is to be left alone by morons like you who think they have a god given right to interfere with the human rights of another. That day is over, you don’t. So move on. Learn to read a book, rather then lining your kennel with them.

        3. The fact you are in a gay site spouting this unbelievably repetitive and dull nonsense means only one of two things:
        (a) You are a closet case, probably ex-gay yourself
        (b) You are a fool with delusion of futility – as no one here will listen or agree with you.

You’re a dying breed LU, and the fact you resort to ignorant and paranoid rantings on a gay site speaks volumes…. I love watching you and your kind flounder and lament your passing hay day. Its warms me so.

        LU

When will you get through your thick skull that you cannot teach something born Unlike religion which not only has the agenda but insists on it being taught.

Your own bigotry proves oh so much

Note how Religious people feel they have the right to treat other human beings.

Nothing changes, they may not be burning at the stake but the sentiment remains.

LU, and you wonder why your resented historically and in the present day. You whinge but you’ll never change and when I look how things in this country are going towards equality and away from discriminating hateful Christians, I think it’s far less than you actually truely deserve.

        1. I have to say LU (and I will be barracked for part of this comment, please everyone let me finish though ..) I believe you should be able to speak your mind – a reasonable and decent society should enable freedom of speech and respect different views … I have to say part of me is impressed that you come on here with such a futile message. This is a gay news site – predominantly full of LGBT people and their associates. We all know we were born this way. Your message is not going to influence us one jot. Repeating the same words in a different order is not going to stop me knowing that I am a gay man.
I look at friends I have who are Christians and their more liberal views and lack of a critical attitude and I think they “witness” more effectively to what your faith suggests it aims to deliver.
On a slightly different point, if this app was not supposed to “deliver gays” then what was it supposed to do? I don’t see the same group launching an app for straights “living in sin”!

you mean views like what leads to suicide? that gets people killed, murdered, raped etc? those views?
homosexuality has no opposite anyway so these christians lie again which is no surprise but is a sin according to their holy book

        2. this is how christians hold us back by making the same disproved claim that homosexuality is a choice just nod your head and move on I am not having that discussion or defending myself.

And LU better be banned today

  4. Here, LU, try this on for size (you might need the help of an adult with literacy skills)

    des·per·ate (dspr-t)
    adj.
    1. Reckless or violent because of despair.
    2. Undertaken out of extreme urgency or as a last resort.
    3. Nearly hopeless; critical
    4. Suffering or driven by great need or distress: desperate for recognition.

Now go look in a mirror, you buffoon.

“Exodus believes the opposite of homosexuality is not heterosexuality. It is holiness.” ergo, we are not sick just unholy (‘evil’, ‘wicked’, according to my Oxford thesaurus.) A big improvement. That’s alright then. Then again, we have those “unwanted same-sex attractions,” he seems to think more worthy of attack than unwelcome opposite sex attractions, such as adultery. That would appear to offer the potential for a bigger app. market, one would have thought, so why just attack gay people? The squirming, excuses of cornered Christians would be laughable if they didn’t inflict so much misery on the world

    Post a reply →
  7. “Unwanted advances” my arse! How absurd. The day Exodus can turn a straight man gay through prayer, maybe, just maybe I’ll believe them, bunch of f—–g liars and frauds! They’ve already been denounced by the American Psychiatric Association and other notables in the scientific community. They’ve also not produced on documented piece of evidence of any controlled study in the scientific or medical journals. Its a scam to obtain profit from vulnerable men and women with a guarantee of NO cure. Praying away the gay is delusional as well as dangerous. These people should be shut down, permanently.

Apple better wise up and boot them off. If they don’t, then I’m ditching my iPhone. 100,000 signatures is no small feat. Amazing that its second in command is an openly gay male.

  8. JUst the latest pathetic and transparent tactic by fundie loons (ie a re-wording of their same vile little message to make it sound ‘nice’).

Exodus and its like are full of silly little people who can’t cope without having someone to label and look down on to make themselves feel better. I don’t know about the opposite of Exodus but I do know a synonym: LOSERS.

“the same information that is available from our site” so, the notion of gayness being a choice, and “freedom” from sexuality. No matter how you put it, it’s vitriol.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, unless they’re wrong.

Apple is taking too long to remove this app which clearly means LGBT money is not wanted. Considering a large percentage of their profits is probably bolstered from this community I think they are naive to think our comminty not imvesting would not make any difference.

As for Exodus, they are nothing but hypocrites. Change the word Gay in cure for ‘Straight’ cure or ‘Religious’ cure and we almost guarantee these Nutjobs will be up in arms screaming victim.

This app has no place and clearly nor does Exodus International.

    Here’s the real gay agenda…

    6:00 am Gym
8:00 am Breakfast (oatmeal and egg whites)
    9:00 am Hair appointment
    10:00 am Shopping
    12:00 PM Brunch
    2:00 PM
    1) Assume complete control of the Federal, State and Local Governments as well as all other national governments,
    2) Recruit all straight youngsters to our debauched lifestyle,
    3) Destroy all healthy heterosexual marriages,
    4) Replace all school counsellors with agents of Colombian
    and Jamaican drug cartels,
    5) Establish planetary chain of “homo breeding gulags” where over-medicated imprisoned straight women are turned into artificially impregnated baby factories to produce prepubescent love slaves for our devotedly pederastic gay leadership,
    6) bulldoze all houses of worship, and
    7) Secure total control of the INTERNET and all mass media for the
    exclusive use of child pornographers.

  15. “On its website, Exodus International says it can help people find “freedom from homosexuality” through prayer. It also practises ‘reparative therapy’ which claims to be able to turn gays straight.”
“In no way shape or form is our message about trying to cure or do we try to promote that type of methodology or message… ….Our message is to promote the love of Jesus Christ to all those who have been impacted by unwanted same-sex attractions.”

Surely that means that he’s equating homosexuality to ‘unwanted same-sex attractions’, then?

    BUZZWORD – propaganda
