Seth Walsh was from the Central Valley in California – my “home turf.”
While our two Senators are fantastic in their LGBT rights support, our Representatives are a mixed lot, ranging from tepid and silent to vocal and hostile.
I can only hope that most of them will quietly support this bill with their votes when the time comes. I have little hope that any of them will sign on as co-sponsors.

  3. Will this apply is so-called `faith based schools’?

Here in Aus, we have similar legislation but the non-government schools are exempt.

“While federal laws currently protect students on the basis of their race, colour, sex, religion, disability or national origin, no federal statute explicitly protects students on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity. “

It really is unbelievable in the 21st century that the world’s most powerful country, the bastion of equality and democracy STILL hasn’t written this into their constitution.

They will kick off every which way about owning guns, but don’t seem to give a toss about it’s people.

    Again, blame God.

dont be daft – its nothing to do with God – its about the people who are using God as an excuse. That unthought out ignorance spoils an otherwise valid statement.

other wise I agree with you – land of the ‘free’ my arse!

I’m not sure about our representatives either. Here in Colorado we are trying for Civil Unions this year. Exgovenor gave us a few rights but I don’t think he was happy about it.
