Well, I am not sure she can win this one.

In my experience this process was applied to ALL personnel in such cases.

It is less to do with sexual orientation and more to do with the rank divide.

Commissioned Officers were not expected to have relationships with NCO’s.

    Maybe that has changed?

I have to say I agree with you Chrissie. The rules are there for everyone equally. So are far as the relationship goes I’m not sure she is right, it sounds like she broke the rules set in place regardless of sexual orientation.

However not sure on if it was fair to ban her from four funerals of soldiers. Even if it was about contact I’m sure something could have been done to allow her to pay her respects.

i know that sexual realationships between officers and other ranks were frowned upon and normally one party had to resign from the forces
