  1. If the only way this creep can get people into his eating establishment is by shock tactics, it time for him to look for another career….Sewer cleaning perhaps…… one shudders to think just what damage he has already done by this irresponsible act. I hope that when the tests are complete that the council nthrows the book at this weirdo.

  2. Hmm… I quite like quirky people like this. Call it a stunt, a gimmick, shock tactics, whatever, but life would be boring wiithout things like this going on. Imagine if we all followed the status quo. It’s a bit like when everyone says similar things about the outrageously flambouyant way Lady Gaga dresses. It’s a marketing ploy, she’s a product, it’s a gimmick, etc etc. Would everyone prefer a world of Adele? Super talented but constantly dressed in a black poncho? Yawn.

Personally I can’t bring myself to even think about eating breast milk ice cream without gagging (or should that be gagagging?) but each to their own. They are quite right to remove it from sale until properly tested.

I am not surprised that the product was taken off the market especially with the recently published reports of toxic levels of flame retardants in UK women’s breast milk, but I’m curious if there is another argument to be had on the potential benefits of breast milk for adults. I don’t think that people’s curiousity with breast milk is anything new but what I hope is that this media frenzy over Baby Gaga ice cream will spark serious research on breast milk’s potential benefits and risks if consumed by adults.

  4. I’m at a total loss as to why this is of any relevance to “gay news” whats so ever…. maybe a gay person once shopped there? Or the oweer petted a gay dog once?

Seriously, are they digging these stupid stories from the Daily Mail?

  5. I think this is a bit weird too – the story being on PN, that is, not the breast milk, which, of course, many people drink every day, albeit from the ‘breasts’ of a cow…

It’s quite right that tests are done to make sure the milk’s safe but why is this ‘food safety’ story considered gay in any way? Or is it so people can make comments about how breast milk would make them gag? Nice.

So let me get this straight (or Bi) the reason this is a news story relevent to these pages is because of a Lady GaGa look-a-like, hmmmm….

Anyway 14 quid for a bit of human fluid ice cream on a rush with a shot of baby Calpol or Bonjela…. Are people that mad?

Kinda glad I had me breakie a couple of hours before reading this.

  7. ’m at a total loss as to why this is of any relevance to “gay news” whats so ever,
Er, because Gay men were also fed breast milk as babies, because Gay men may also be sickened or interested in the product, etc., etc.,
Pretty much the same reason as it would be in any other paper

    1. Could the connection be any more tenuous?

  8. Actually why this and nothing about Galliano

  9. Hmmm so they publish this yet I have seen nothing (if I’m wrong let me know) about the man who was followed home from a gay club called Curzons in Derby and stabbed several times. Come on PinkNews get your piorities right.

  10. I swung by the shop on Monday , there was only a woman dressed in a police uniform serving, the bresat milk icecream was not available there and no sign of any Gaga lookalike.
I think the health considerations need to be taken into account, human breast-mmik icecream doesn’t appeal to me but it’s great promotional advertising nonetheless.

They removed it because something containing breast milk may not be “fit for human consumption” — it’s human breast milk. Kinda by definition fit for human consumption…. but anyway, whatever, the owners got the publicity they were after (I mean ‘served with Calpol or Bonjela’?!), so they will hardly care what happens now with that little investigation.

Whats next Asparagus served with ‘Yellow Snow’?

  13. This has to do with gay people… how?

Oh, because they used a look alike of Lady Gaga.

My God, Pink News, do you get slow days or do you actually think things like this are relevant?

  14. I think it’s quiet nice to have a ‘general news’ item in PN, If they did’nt people
could claim PN discriminates ‘general news’!!
