  1. Clearly news is thin on the ground this week if this is being reported. All I can think about this is “so what?”

    Not news. Not newsworthy.

    Well, I found this amusing.

  4. No, not one of the most newsworthy articles on Pink News and the headline’s implication that the set was actually shared (i.e. shooting happening at approximately the same time) was worthy of the Sun or the Daily Mail.

With a fascinating building like that, I’m sure lots of interesting things have been filmed there over the years.

  7. Would it not have been more honest (not as sensational perhaps) to use the word location.

This was not a set, which is an artificial construction built to replicate a location, this was a real life location.

I agree with those saying misleading, sensationalist reporting not really what I would expect from here. It has more affinity with a Daily Fail attempt to generate moral outrage against the depravity of gay lifestyles.

This isn’t gay news. PN, you are actually The Star in disguise.

  9. I agree with the others – a ridiculous piece of non-news – but it does get me fantasising about Colin Firth appearing in a gay skinflick…

  10. 33 Portland Place is owned by that sleazy greasy perma-tanned twatbag Edward Davenport. He’s a glorified pimp.

Is this really a news story. I am a gay man and I once stammered; perhaps we should do a story about that.
This is a great resource for LGBT news from around the world, lets not allow it to become too trivial, please.

  13. What was the flick called? The Queen’s Peach?

Clever bit of free promotion by the producers (of which film I don’t know)

Come down everyone. Of course it is not news it is trivia. As trivia I found it very amusing. Not all gay productions are shot in dirty backrooms of run down buildings. The tone of the piece is rather amusing which indicates the author was fully aware of the article’s low news value. Still, people will talk about it.

  16. Just think of it as the amusing non-story at the end of the news at ten! s

What puzzles me is why anyone in the mainstream press thinks it matters. IS it because it was a GAY porn film? Would a straight one, or fake lesbian romps for tititlating straighrt males have been ok?

  17. This is truly pathetic.
PN have sunk to their lowest yet with this tenuous connection.
