  1. Good for him . . . it is about time some one with like Peter Maxwell Davies as Queen’s composer; stood up to the C of E’s Evangelical Fundamentalist!!!

  2. I’m sure he didn’t say anything about islam’s attitude to homosexuality ’cause he was too scared of the reaction of the religion of piece followers.

  3. Great composer- great comments. Gays have become for Christians the new ones to bash just as for centuries Jewish people were.. Both bashings used bible quotes to justify themselves. How unchristian Christians can be. Go to it Peter and ets have a compsition for Gay services

  4. Now lets see what Rowan Williams says about that! I doubt if he would for fear of offending the Queen as head of the church. Good for Peter, nice to know the Queen welcomes him and his partner.

  5. I think his real point is “I really don’t understand why people want to have [anything] to do with [the Church of England]“.

Though I don’t see why he feels the need to comment on why priests won’t officiate at CPs – CPs are a civil contract and therefore nothing to do with organised religion.

Thugs I think describe these religious nutters perfectly!
