11:09 PM — The Budapest Metropolitan Court has overturned a police decision to deny permission for Budapest's Pride march planned for June 18th 2011.

4:22 PM — A Manchester man who was evicted after threatening to firebomb a local gay couple has returned to the same street. James Saunders, 36, and his partner Diane Halliwell, 42, were kicked out of their rented home on Windsor Road, Harpurhey, in November after the incident.
New Hampshire’s gay marriage law under threat 10
3:03 PM — Politicians in the US state of New Hampshire are attempting to repeal a 2009 marriage equality law. New Hampshire legalised the practice in 2009 but two bills to make it illegal are currently in front of the House.

1:39 PM — A teenager from Newcastle has been jailed for his part in an attack on a gay man. Kyle Watson, 19, admitted kicking 25-year-old Michael Gibbons after barging into his house.
Facebook adds ‘civil union’ status to profiles 23
11:35 AM — Gay and lesbian Facebook users can now state whether they are in a civil union or domestic partnership on their profile pages. Groups had been set up to call for the change and the new options are being rolled out in the US, UK and several other countries today.

One in five unaware that HIV can be passed though unprotected gay sex 20
10:46 AM — A survey suggests that one in five people do not know that HIV can be passed on through unprotected gay sex. The poll of 1,944 people, by the National AIDS Trust, also found that the same number did not realise that unsafe heterosexual sex could lead to transmission of the virus.
Tory MP claims most gay people don’t want the right to marry 155
10:03 AM — A Conservative MP has claimed that only a "tiny number" of gay people actually want the right to marry. Edward Leigh, the MP for Gainsborough, questioned why the language of marriage should be "mangled" and suggested that changing the law would lead to recognising polygamy.
