  1. He no gay and share room with gay aid. He like gay so no reason not tell Sheiks to not murder Gays. But he diplomat. Diplomat say nothing upset. Diplomat is scumbag.

  2. That’s all well and good, Mr. Haig, but what about full equality in our own country? What about full civil marriage equality for starters? Charity begins at home. We need to get our own house in order first. We still bar our own people from marriage in their own country. Straight people don’t have to travel overseas to get married, so why should we, all things being equal?

Hague is no champion of human rights, despite the, er, ambiguity over his own sexual orientation. He was leader of the Tories when they chose to oppose the repeal of Section 28 by Labour. Chances of him raising this issue in the Middle East are a big fat zero.

I remember this bald bigot as a wee teen boy sucking up to Thatcher.

    He had hair then.

Hague is an indoctrinated idiot. Both in his christian deemed rights and his belief as most politicians have that they have a divine
right to fleece everyone and everything.

    Expect nothing from this man.

Gays will still hang, and be shoved off cliffs.

It’s their right according to their religion he will argue.

  5. What a joke 9 Feb 2011, 11:52pm

Hague as a gay rights spokeman. LOL.
And so what if he does say something. You think that little dweeb is gonna overturn 1500 years of islamic homophobia.

  6. Indeed it would be pointless for him to do so. Middle eastern governments are more than well informed of our opinions on their outrageous laws, and they haven’t even come close to budging. It’s going to take a lot more than international pressure, they might as well be from a different planet. Like with Western culture it will take hundreds of years of internal culture shift to even START ending discrimination. I don’t doubt it will change, but not in our lifetime, and our foreign secretary repeating our already well-known objections isn’t going to make the slightest scratch on the surface of their bigotry.

  7. The fact is, anyone who’s in the know is well aware that Hague’s a bum-bandit, but his chums in the mainstream media are playing it down. There’s also talk of trouble in the marriage. Any religious person might consider the possibility that Ffion’s two miscarriages were God’s punishment for little Willy’s misdeeds. Either way, she is a victim of his deceit and has wasted the best part of her adult life with someone who has used her as a shield to hide his shirt-lifting ways. A nasty creep.
