I believe James is referring to Kurt from Glee. And I have to agree… yes some gay people are very camp but given Glee’s popularity it is doing absolutely nothing to help the ‘gays are women in a man’s body’ stereotype. They have only just introduced a different gay character who, from what I’ve read (I haven’t seen it yet), is masculine. If anything, Glee should win the award for ‘Show that has perpetuated a stereotype the most’.

Brothers and Sisters – now, this is a very good series with non-stereotypical gay characters. I recommend it.
