    6:33 PM — A Brazillian man and his American husband may be split up after the US attorney-general refused to reverse an immigration order. Genesio Oliveira, 31, is married to Tim Coco, 49, of Massachusetts, but Mr Oliveira believes he may be sent back to Brazil within six months.

Hannah Williams, 16, wanted to take her girlfriend Savannah Supski, also 16, to the event at Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar in Melbourne but the Year 11 student was told she could only attend the ball with a boy.

    5:39 PM — A lesbian MEP for the West Midlands claims that UKIP discriminated against her on the grounds of her sexual orientation. Nikki Sinclaire was elected as a UKIP MEP last year but fell out with the party in January when she refused to sit with its EFD allies in the European Parliament.
