  1. 20 years is not nearly enough.

  2. Fortunately, 20 years has been judged as the ´minimum´ period required as the punishment element of his sentence.

With regard to any possibility of an eventual release, that would rely on him being able to convince doctors and the parole board that he was no longer a danger to the public.

Something that I doubt he would be able to do.

Although I agree that the law (should) allow for the possibility of rehabilitation in most cases, This man is clearly a menace and a huge danger to everyone and should never be released in my opinion.

This man is a menace to any society

  4. This man has chosen to consistently behave in a way that clearly separates him from humanity. Therefore, he should be executed, and his viable organs should be used for transplant. That would be the only useful contribution that he could possibly make to society. Sometimes I despair at our notion of collective justice.

When a gay man is murdered it is often by a fellow gay man and many ‘queer bashers’ involved in homophobic attacks are queer themselves.
