I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I hope Dan has a speedy recovery. I also hope that those in power start taking his message seriously.
It reminded me of the closing number at the end of Pink Floyd’s “the Wall”:
“All alone or in twos,
the ones who really love you,
Walk up and down outside the wall,
Some hand in hand,
Some gathering together in bands,
The Bleeding hearts and artists,
Make their stand,
And when they’ve given their all,
Some stagger and fall, after all it’s not easy,
Banging your heart against some mad bugger’s wall”

Hang in there. You have taken on a tremendous burden and noone can really know the weight you carry being so public. You are truly a hero and please, please know that you are very much admired and supported by your brothers and sisters in this fight for equality.
Take good care of yourself. You have already made a difference and you should be proud of yourself.
A great guy who is obviously passionate about what he is fighting for. Maybe Washington politicians will wake up and see the real damage DADT does. Dan’s just one example of how it harms.
It’s a disgrace and should go now, with no further delay.

I have been watching and cheering your campaign from a distance.
You are an a amazing person and have shown exemplary behaviour in the face of incredible odds.
Your cause WILL WIN – simply because it MUST!!! Most of the world is on board – so must the USA.
