  1. They should rename it Beergut, that should appeal to their intended clientele.

  2. Why would anyone think this was a good idea?

  3. So let me get this straight (avoid the pun) . . . calling us names is supposed to encourage us to by their product . . . so who was their brand manager “Ian Paisley”

Moa Beers. That’s pretty wonky already. There has been at least one attempt at marketing a beer branded Queer Beer (or something similar enough) which was available in San Francisco … quite some while back, and only briefly. It didn’t “catch on.” Back to extinct bird beer.

Oh dear it appears our NZ friends are heading down the same gormless beer guzzling highway as their antipodean neighbours..proves how many braincells get killed by alcohol if nothing else…

It’s a bit poor that the ‘queer’ version is meant to be a lesser product.

  7. They weren’t trying to appeal to, as they put it, queers.

They were trying to appeal to machismo males that want to have women sprout from their beer and wrap around their grotesque beer bellies.

  8. Well, now this is just ridiculous, and a lesson:

never let your drunk gay friends (like me!) tell you something is a good idea when it clearly isn’t…we WILL let you make the horrible mistake.
