  1. “Make no mistake; this is all about destroying Sarah Palin by any means necessary.”

There’s an inspiring idea…I say do whatever it takes!

  2. “The slur used here is one you could hear on the streets of West Hollywood or Chelsea every day of the week. Apparently, it’s only a homophobic slur when it comes from the daughter of a conservative female leader.”

Ha – how pathetic are GOProud.

I doubt very much they’d be defending Willow Palin if she had called someone a n***er.

    They are truly pathetic.

As for Sarah Palin and her Klan – as I’ve already said – they are the prefect advertisement for late term abortion.

  3. “Apparently, it’s only a homophobic slur when it comes from the daughter of a conservative female leader”
Its a homophobic slur when it comes from anyone. The fact that it came from the daughter of a conservative female leader makes no odds – the point is that they should be setting a good example. Get with the program, GOProud.

  4. GOProud. What a bunch of Uncle Toms.

  5. I’m with Gwen on this – it’s a homophobic slur whoever says it. The fact that it’s regularly heard on the streets isn’t something to wheel out in defence of whenever anyone uses it. You have to despair just a little.

  6. I’m in Chelsea every day and I never hear that.

  7. I honestly don’t know how you can be gay and republican. It’s not like being gay and being a Tory as the Republicans would very happily repeal alot of gay rights legislation, and the amount of homophobia that comes from the Republicans is unreal. Honestly, if I was a neo-liberal liberal living America I just wouldn’t vote.

  8. Maybe Willow Palin is being unfairly criticized. Perhaps it should be her mother who has raised her children to use language like this, especially on a public forum. For all their conservative values apparently swearing by their children isn’t one of them.

  9. Conservatives on both sides of the pond are always ready to sell their family members for a profit.
    Gay tories —–> Duhhhh

  10. Who’s Sere Pilen? Who’s Willow? Is it her son? Never heard o’dem.

  11. [GOProud] told TMZ: “The slur used here is one you could hear on the streets of West Hollywood or Chelsea every day of the week. Apparently, it’s only a homophobic slur when it comes from the daughter of a conservative female leader.”

The hint is in the word ‘slur’. GOProud – who are these muppets?

Even if the word is heard “…on the streets of West Hollywood or Chelsea every day of the week”, it’s OUR word, not yours!! It is one thing when two of us use it with each other and another thing entirely when it is used in a demeaning, hateful and insulting way. I dare any member of the GOProud, or Bristol or WIllow to call someone who is black the N word and see what kind of reaction they get!!

  13. Gay Republicans defending anti-gay slurs by the children of an anti-gay Republican figure-head. That’s brilliant. I know this sort of thing exists everywhere, but 40% of gay men voted Republican in 2010. Those same Republican members of Congress who vote 8-1 or 10-1 against every gay-positive measure. The majority voted for Reagan after he refused to acknowledge AIDS. I must really be stupid because I’m thoroughly perplexed.
