  1. This is the same madonna that called gauy people freaks of nature in her movie and got married to guy(i’m not gay really) ritchie the overcompensating homophobe I wish shed just do one

  2. Nevertheless she is correct.

Gay people have to put up with verbal and physical abuse almost daily and they don’t receive the support which they so desperately need.

Of course in some countries people are put to death for being gay (or for gay acts).

Some parents abandon their sons or daughters for being gay (or lesbian).

Why? – It varies but it seems to me that they do so because of their religous beliefs. Some people are so blinded by religion that they will do anything for it.

To the core of my being I know it is wrong to mistreat gay people. I feel this so bad that I’m actually ashamed to be part of a world which does this to people.

  3. I am one of the people who were abondoned by his parents at 18 about the time she did her movie. So she did me no favours and her husbands films help to reinforce homophobia I dont beleive a word that comes out that bit@hes mouth and ellen is another sellout she forgot how badly she got burned when she came out in her TV show now she back suckling at the teat of the homophobic media they all make me sick

    > I feel this so bad that I’m actually ashamed to be part of a world which does this to people.

I’m not sure I’d go that far. The world is a big place.

Yes it is but I don’t see politicians (or any group) condemning the treatment of gay people in places such as Uganda. I want then to stop treating gay people like this but I don’t know where to start. I want to stop gay people from being persecuted. The more I read about how gays are mistreated the more obvious it is that we’re not doing enough to help. This makes me feel guilty.

I’m glad she is speaking out for our victimized Gay youth. You are so lucky in England to have her as a voice. Our TV waves in Australia are dominated by hairy nosed Ockers in Thongs and stubbies, looking for a sophisticated women. We are never given a chance to show our culture. They keep boring us to death, with their sports results, families and children. Other unfortunates are daily tormented by pictures of John Howard, Purse-lipped Gillard and Papal suckole Tony Abbott. Some women here still wear Kangaroo Fur Bikiny’s too.

  7. sorry, when did madonna ever say gay people were freaks of nature or anything else bad?

  8. Nice one Madge!…..and thanks xxx !

Yeah, nice one Madge! Some people are never pleased, or accept good news as being exactly that… GOOD NEWS.

I remember well awhile ago on here there was a piece about Daniel Radcliffe having donated both a large amount of money (and his time) to gay charities benefiting gay teenagers. The artive said that he was straight. As usual, the naysayers appeared on here with the old nudge-nudge, wink-wink `Oh I bet he´s gay´ accusations. So what? That is hardly the point? The point is that it is a straight person trying to do us some good. (Instead of harm!)

It is great to hear from gay celebrities on the subject of lgbt equality, but please, let´s hear from MORE straight celebrities who support us also.

Teen suicide among lgbt youth is a terrible thing and seems to be on the rise (it was bad enough anyway!) Let´s (for once) applaud anyone´s efforts to do something about it instead of trying to score cheap political points and bitching.

    Well done Madge!
