OMG… we may not have gay marriage as yet in the UK but it is comments like these that make you realise that we are a little better off than some folk around the world in terms of equality.

Never heard anything so stupid in my life, how will he know if there is a closet gay? Run a gay porn movie and see who gets a stiffy?

If Croatia has legalised homosexuality and allows gay people into the armed forces then in law at least this man hasn’t got much legal support. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that homophobia is rife in Croatia and in Serbia too, maybe the rest of east Europe as well. There’s far too much Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity about.

  8. “Luckily, only normal people play football.” Ergo, a gay man playing football is either (1) not gay, or (2) not playing football. Erm …

Still, we shouldn’t get too smug, there’s not exactly been a chorus of approval for the idea of an out gay professional footballer in the UK, has there?
