    God Bless America! >:(

Somebody needs to scratch that message OFF the Statue of Liberty because it’s a big fat lie.

“A judge ruled that he had a genuine fear of returning to his home country but was not physically harmed by the attack.”

Er what planet do these people live on?

Amen to Daivd in Indy! This is sickening. So much for any belief that Obama wants to do anything for GLBT Americani (I never did believe it, but my wife did and she is disgusted as well)

  4. This is not only a gay issue when it comes to marriage. Even a foreign national married to an American can also face deportation if they arrived in the country illegaly, a bit different from the case in hand, but it demonstrates how harsh the American system is in regard to foreign born nationals. There is no bi-national recognition in America for gay couples but for straight bi-nationals there is. In fact, a straight foreigner can be engaged to an American and will be given permission to emigrate to join his or her intended spouse if they file for a notice of intent to marry with the Department of Homeland Security. So much for the land of the free and the claim that America is the greatest country on earth where everyone is supposed to be equal under the law. Liberty and justice for all my arse! Its never been that way for gay people in America and probably never will with an anti-gay right wing republican party and an ineffective democratic party that has never been serious about LGBT equality, except around election time when its soliciting for donations and then gives them the shaft. I’d rather be gay in the UK than in the USA, anyday. At least us gay Brits have achieved almost full equality until same-sex marriage is legalised and probably will be. Not going to happen in America.

so much for the “fierce advocate” that is Obama. THIS is why the dems lost, they shafted the gay constituency as well as the liberal wing of the blue party.

He will be a one-term president, famous for being black, and make a fortune on the back of it.

  6. If couples are younger and live in the Americas, it may pay to emigrate to Argentina or Uruguay. Start those Spanish lessons as soon as possible.
