I think he only has the wisdom to understand single syllable words.
Pope – You are a prat!

wherever he goes he wears 2 hats: head of state, head of the RCC.

While ordinarily a HoS doesn’t criticise the country s/he is visiting, this twat puts on his “pope” hat and insults and condemnsthe laws and govt of a country, while expecting his HoSness to give him entre to the power structure.

The King & Queen of Spain should have been advised to keep away: they’ve politicised themselves

  3. Look at the number of people not attending church and wonder why? its quite simples! This Pope is trying to drag the church back to a pre Vatican 2 time. What is needed is a forward thinking pontiff, not an old fart who lives in the past and is probably sorry he can’t burn the odd heretic or two! (after all he was in charge of the Office of the Inquistion!)

Clear The ‘Poop’ doesn’t really understand the words democracy and Freedoms. So what gives him the right to dictated. We wouldn’t stand this from any other dictatorship!

  5. Oh I beg todiffer! Of course he was “democratically” elected (because he has all the dirt on the rest of the Cardinals locked away in his desk(!) He understands freedom to die because he won’t allow condoms……he understands…everything…he is infalable ;-)

  6. Pot calling kettle black… as some would say that Ratzingers special relationship with his personal assistant Gorgeous George was a little non-traditional.

And if Ratzinger thinks ““Generous love between a man and a woman is the efficient framework and basis of human life.” then why has he never availed himself of same…is it because the Pope is a self-loathing closet gay?

  7. ….why is he allowed to visit?…they don’t let people like Mugabe in…I’d tell him to stay at home.

the pope should be in jail
    for crimes against humanity
he is the biggest lair on earth
chief of a state that should not exist

  9. And just what does he know about the love between any two people having never indulged? What a moron! I only wish there had been 200,000 people not a measly 100-200. He can rant all he wants, the tide is turning against the bigot and his equally bigoted cult.

  10. “Generous love between a man and a woman is the efficient framework and basis of human life.”
No. Generous love among everybody is the efficient framework and basis of human life. But mistaking form for content is all too common among the religious.

  11. Excellent demonstration of defiance. Appropriate too – pure lip-service. Poor soul it must have made him feel terribly jealous, all those people being true to themselves, demonstrating their love and affection in public, all those things that make us human, which as a Roman Catholic and a Ratzinger he’s been denied. It couldn’t have happened to a better man.

  12. Ratzinger is the type who might write and publish a recipe book without ever having cooked or eaten any of the dishes in it.

  13. Is the Pope really inflatable?

  14. Siento hablar en español, no sé inglés.
El Papa Ratzinger es un fasscista.

Such a sad man. Wish my wife and I were in Barcelona–we’d gladly smooch, especially if it aleinates Benedict XVI!
