Can’t help thinking that maybe we in the UK and other countries that allow there service men and women to be themselves respectfully, should review allowing our troops to fight alongside those that clearly do not have the same respect for their own troops.
If the US still need to question the this DADT policy when they have served alongside other countries that do then it shows they not only haven’t learned anything by doing so but also that they clearly don’t respect our troops that are accepted for who they are.
Why do we allow ourselves to serve with other countries that do not respectthis basic human right?
It sounds like the US military are scared of how many people are there to come out: if they all came out now it would be much harder for them to press for the current laws to be maintained (as they are currently doing), since they would then have to sack even more people…

I can only encourage gay soldiers to come out and resign!
