I would argue against single parenting being wrong, too. Going into pregnancy or adoption while single may not be a great idea. But, for those who experience divorce or bereavement, single parenting is a far better idea than trying to stick with a failing marriage or grabbing the next stranger you find as a co-parent. Both of those situations can be stressful and harmful for children’s development.
