It is quite clear that Stonewall is going to have to make a drastic change very soon to its position on the marriage issue unless it wants to look like an organisation that is completely out of step with the current mood.
Now, as for the poll, I also like Will Young. He seems quite sensible and is quite talented.
The insistence by this site on using “gay” to cover the entire LGBT spectrum gets more than ridiculous when it is suggested that Will Young is a role model for lesbians.

No wonder Stonewall can’t be bothered fighting for civil marriage equality. Finding out the best gay pop star is clearly FAR more important.
Stonewall claim they surveyed 1003 people for this absurd poll.
When was the last time they did a survey to determine the gay community’s opinion on marriage equality.

I can see why role models are needed but I don’t see why stonewall doesn’t care about equality with marriages
