Good for him getting involved, I didn’t find his comments to be homophobic by what I believe is the definiton of the word but they did imply maybe he had a bit of ignorance about gay people, hopefully the pride taught him what the rainbow flag means.
Whether his initial comment was spiteful or just badly judged, I’m pleased that he did this. Shows that he actually does care enough to put his money where his mouth is. Much better than some cynical copy-paste apology letter.
It’s good to see him there, showing that he didn’t just apologise and try to shove the issue under the rug, but is actually helping to campaign against homophobia.
Bravo Mr Knowles!
Well I am glad he did this and all it needs is for someone just to say sorry and get on with life. Fair play. It was good of him to support equality and go on the campaign and hopefully he made some friends too.
He was Labour and left to go to Tory,, then he made the comment about limp wrist people and now he walks in Pride ,, (make up your mind Dennis)as someone who lives in his constituancy and knows him in the past, he should not be forgiven and he should have got the Sack, other politicians were sacked due to face book ar twitter comments in the election ,,, and this person should have paid for his comments with more than just an apology,

Now this is how you apologise!

Yeah good on him! We all say things we regret sometimes. I admire him for going on the Pride march.
