I know Ian and know the reputation of Councillor Cutts.
There’s no way Ian would make this up.
Cutts’ behaviour is completely in character and utterly disgusting.

A local blog described Mrs Cutts as an “out-of-her depth opportunist”. She has supported a colleague who pinned up soft porn on his office wall; she has said that the Council should not “waste money” on supporting Pride. In this harsh economic climate she has insisted on having expensive new flooring provided for her office. She has ordered that a memorial to children sent away against their wishes to Australia be removed from its place near County Hall. The stories told about her behind her back by her employees are absolutely fascinating.

Ian, are you able to shed any light on why he waited eight months then?

This story appears to have been lifted directly from, a Lib Dem blog site. Is that how stories are being sourced these days?

  4. Yeah, would need a little more info on this before I can make up my mind on it…

Something SO shocking and disgusting, why wait 8 months to go public? Surely this should have been taken to the media immediately?

Good on Mr Cameron for instigating an investigation into this though. Perhaps more answers will be forthcoming…?

I wouldn’t want to be associated with some queen with a turned up collar like that either. It’s social suicide, dahlinks!

After watching Baroness Warsi’s perfomance on *that* Question Time with BNP bovva-boy Nick Griffin, agreeing with him that two men holding hands in the street is creepy, or at the very least quite obviously *not* disagreeing with him when everyone else on the panel did, I am not overly confident that the homophobic chairman of the homophobic party is going to recognise any homophobia on the part of the leader of Notts County Council.

Or am I being overly cynical? Perhaps I need another pink gin?

Actually Monachus, there seem to be a few of the rest of us a wee bit skeptical about it.
