Robbie Williams will reportedly rejoin Take ThatRobbie Williams will reportedly reunite with Take That – and make a Brokeback Mountain-themed promo video with former bandmate Gary Barlow.
Williams, who left the band in 1995, has co-written a new song, Shame, with Barlow and the pair will release it in October.
As a promo for the track, the pair will reportedly star together in a video compared to gay cowboy film Brokeback Mountain.
Reports say the promo will show their love-hate relationship over the years, although no details have been released about how gay the clip will be.
Some news sources have suggested the video will be more like a spoof of the original film.
The band are expected to release a new album at Christmas with a stadium tour in the summer of 2011.
A source told the Sun: “Everything is in place now to formally announce Robbie’s return to Take That for one year only.
“He will announce his comeback with a public statement. Then he’ll release Shame with Gary.”
