Oh. I assumed she was a straight lady playing a lesbian. Good on you girl. I wonder if it’s easier or harder in the entertainment world being male or female? One assumes Lesbians get an easier reception as females are much more touchy-feely and in touch with their sexuality than men are, but there seems to be a lot less of them. Anyone know something I don’t?

She doesn’t play a lesbian in Glee. It seems to be popular to declare yourself a bisexual girl these days .Perhaps it is most hard to come out for male ‘straight acting’ actors. Joe public adores camp media guys (the list is endless) but clearly have much less affection for those gayers that lack a bit of sparkle!!

Ironically, though Sue Sylvester plays up to the ball-breaking sporty Lesbian stereotype, I was actually surprised on tuning into the show that Sue Sylvester was written as a straight character.
Unless they do what Ellen did in her show and out Sue Sylvester several series down the line.
