Sorry to see you leave the pop scene Sir Elton but I am sure you will be a winner in the new road you have chosen.
If he retires from pop music then it will free up his time to be the wedding singer he obviously so longs to be.
Thought his music was always a bit old fashioned anyway – what’s he mean?
Perhaps that anti gay marriage comment of his is just a reflection of his age – in this day and age it’s ok to have gay marriages and CPs – no need to be put off by anything, nice to have the choice wouldn’t you think….
“Mr Elton John who told USA Today he didn’t want to be gay married and that “I’m very happy with a civil partnership. If gay people want to get married, or get together, they should have a civil partnership … The word marriage, I think, puts a lot of people off. You get the same equal rights that we do when we have a civil partnership. Heterosexual people get married. We can have civil partnerships.”
The coke didn’t kill him, the outlandish stage outfits didn’t kill him, the death of Diana et al didn’t kill him. Anyone know if Raoul Moat would be up for a nice little earner before he gets locked away?
Nice comment. Shame it’s like 23 years late in coming.
The man’s got talent, so why dress mutton as lamb?
