  4. I live 30 seconds from the Mona Showground so this is fabulous news! Don’t be deceived, it’s really quite good here weather wise.

  5. Oh please, I’ve survived Rhyl. An umbrella at the minimum. But I’d love to come.

I’ve survived Angelsey, in the rain, on a Sunday, when it was “dry”.

Bangor is a University town, close to holiday resorts, and not the *rse-end of the universe as it used to be before the roads were improved and when the natives only watched BBC Cymru. This part of Wales certainly needs a “Pride” event, if only to give them something to talk about!

(PS as a born and bred North Walian, I can say that all this is true)

I’m looking forward to a week in Angelsey later this month, and as another born and bred North Walian I’m looking forward to a week nearer home.
