  1. Quote: ‘although Beenie Man promised not to sing any homophobic songs’ – Well, it looks like your past is coming to haunt you Beenie Man.
He is a vile homophobe and only promised this to get the dosh.
    Well done Parkpop organisers.

Beenie Man is scheduled to perform also at a Couleur Cafe festival in Brussels next weekend and Belgian organisations are working to prevent his appearance

    * We must shout NO NO NO to murder. . .
    * We must shout NO NO NO to homophobia . . .
    * The fact that we have to shout these things, indicates how dangerous it still is in some areas of the world for LGBT people.

  4. The fact that he would still be INVITED to perform in a Dutch festival, and in a Belgian festival, is astonishing and VERY disturbing to me.

If we can’t expect these two countries to understand the problem with inviting this raging homophobe and instigator of homphobic violence/murder then what hope is there to expect ANY country to understand the dangers and unacceptability of homophobia and homophobic violence.

  5. Great news hit this vile homophobe where it hurts in his pocket. Why are gigs giving this scumbag the chance ton perform in the first place?

  6. Apparently, he’s been booked to sing for the pope.
