Nope, Beenie Man won’t be in The Hague after complaints from various organisations. How can anyone think of a homophobe as a replacement for Snoop? Beenie’s lyrics are well-know, so what idiot came up with him?

  2. I love the fact they think Dogg fans would be problematic if they don’t have another hip hop star.

Says a lot for hip hop culture.

Funny thing is that I was just reading the year Jay-Z headlined at Glasto there were more thief’s then another other year.

    Nuff said

  3. Let’s be honest, they’re both crap! Anyone who can come out with the semi-literate rubbish they do and call it music should be sent to a remote island so we don’t have to hear them

  4. According to Parkpop.nl ‘s website, the organisers have rescinded the invitation to Beenie Man.

“DUCOS Productions, organisator van Parkpop, heeft vandaag besloten de artiest Beenie Man terug te trekken uit de programmering van 27 juni. De reggaester zou aanvankelijk de lege plek van de eerder geannuleerde Snoop Dogg opvullen, maar DUCOS Productions ziet daar na intern beraad vanaf.”

…daarmee heeft Ducos een PR-ramp kunnen vermijden.

I just can’t get angry with Snoop Dogg. I just want to hug him.

  6. Umm, OK, that decision makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. So they dropped one homophobe for another? Bizarre.

  7. Snoop is far from a homophobe. At the end of Bruno, Snoop raps and says “He’s gay?” shrugs his shoulders, “OK.”

And whoever said Snoop is crap and semi-literate – wow! He’s the grand-daddy of rap!
