5:19 PM — A 21-year-old man has been found guilty of murdering a 79-year-old gay man in his south London home. Marcin Orlowski, of no fixed address, denied killing Edward 'Teddy' Highwood on July 17th last year in the pensioner's Greenwich home.

The qualitative research follows the publication of a 17-year study on children brought up by lesbian couples, which found they were happier and had fewer behavioural problems than children brought up by straight parents.

Man jailed for 22 years for murder of trans woman Andrea Waddell 3
10:34 AM — A satellite installer from from Brighton has been jailed for a minimum of 22 years for murdering Andrea Waddell, a trans woman. Neil MacMillan, 41, of Bennett Road, denied the 29-year-old's murder but was found guilty last week.
