  1. What an idiot. He protests that he’s not homophobic then goes on to make lots of ignorant statements in his defence. Clearly not the brightest person around.

  2. It’s all fun, just a laugh, we should bring back Love Thy Neighbour, they were just having a laugh around black people, or send him a Robertson’s Golliwog as a humorous jibe.

  3. “Like most straight guys I joke around with the whole gay thing and I see it as comedy, not saying that’s right or wrong but I don’t do it out of hate”.”

Like most white guys I joke around with the whole black think and I see it as comedy, not saying that’s right or wrong but I don’t do it out of hate.

I wonder how Mr Jackson would react to that?

  4. So if I joked around about skin colour and slavery around Quinton Jackson he would not get offended right! So what the difference between the two types bigoted behaviour that one is aright in Quinton’s eyes?

It also sounds like Quinton Jackson has some issues about his own sexuality if he thinks all men are that interested in him!

  5. Posing topless with a fetish style bike chain round your thick steroid enhanced neck is more than “kinda gay”

    lol

  6. “Not only did I enjoy myself but I was relieved that the guys at this bar did not hound me once,” he wrote.”
Probably because they saw how much of a nasty piece of work you are

I for one dont take offence, again I see the funny side but those who dont make life a lot harder for themselves. If had explicitly been homophobic I would have taken issue but to me it rolls of my shoulders. Again Peter Tatachell lovers protest….sigh

  8. so I guess his Ok being called teh N word plus many others then? Just liken up dude

  9. no 7: Chutneybear: “I for one dont take offence, again I see the funny side”

So long as Quinton Jackson sees the funny side of being called a n****r then I agree with you.

  10. Whatever Quinton, I’m still not going to see your sh*tty film.

  11. Well if acting makes you kinda gay and soft – why is this big black softy seeking a career in the big old gay film business? derrrr Dumb ‘……’ – see I’m evolved enough to know when to stop – evolution makes you kinda Tolerant – Hey Queertin try evolving!

Well you would have to ask him, I dont get hot under the collar… while you are at it why not prosecute Frank Boyle,Jimmy Carr while you are at it..

  13. He shoud lighten up when ppl use being black as an insult, fuc’king nig’ger

  14. I agree with posts 1-6. People can ‘lighten up’ when they feel equally comfortable with the same statements/generalisations made with the word ‘black’ or ‘Jew’ substituted for ‘gay’.

  15. Chutney bear, what PinkNews isn’t reporting but was WIDELY reported here in the US was that Jackson used the word “faggot” numerous times during the interview, even calling a fellow cast member a “faggot” for making fun of him.

I would probably not have taken much offense if he had only done what PinkNews is reporting but I do take offense when he uses a word that is equivalent to the “N” word and then trying to justify it as, “just having fun”.

By the way, HE doesn’t get to decide what’s acceptable and what is not when it comes to what is offensive to gay people. HE doesn’t get to decide if his use of “faggot” is OK or not, just as I don’t get to decide what should and should not offend black people or whether or not it’s OK to use the word “nigga” without it being an offensive slur.

  16. the only thing i’m surprised at is a neanderthal like him knowing how to write a blog.

  17. Same could be said about slavery. In fact shouldn’t the balck community be thankful?

  18. I for one dont take offence, again I see the funny side but those who dont make life a lot harder for themselves. If had explicitly been homophobic I would have taken issue but to me it rolls of my shoulders. Again Peter Tatachell lovers protest….sigh

I love comments like this. Prey do tell when should a line be drawn against homophobia? Ignore the first comment, turn your back on a series of verbal abuse, take the first punch on the chin. Lick the first stab wound? When would you advise that I take this as playful banter and when should I get concerned and worried. Any behavior like this is a rolling ball . It starts with words and then leads to other actions . Then sometimes death. My mate was called a faggot, they then proceeded to cave his head in with a hammer. I wonder when he thought, oh this is just harmless banter and when he changed his mind too, I am going to die!

  19. No 18: Dave: you say: “I for one dont take offence, again I see the funny side but those who dont make life a lot harder for themselves.”

    Fair enough.

Just so long as you would expect black people to see the funny side of being called n****r in the same lighthearted manner.

Otherwise you’re just defending a homophobic double standard.

  20. MartinM, dave was commenting on ChutneyBear’s comment. His first paragraph was not his own. Maybe read the whole way through a comment before lambasting someone for it?

I wasnt aware he used the word faggot now that is crossing the line. BTW I take it none of you here like Frankie Boyle or Jimmy Carr?

Quinton Jackson has only one oar in the water. It happens.
