  3. Their next villian will be a butch lesbian. Very sterotypical these characters are.

  4. I fail to see the point of bringing up the stereotypes, really.

You will see each one of these “stereotypes” in a gay pride parade. Which, while usually more glittery, shows that there are legitimate people in LGBT society that do dress and act like “stereotypes”.

Plus, having a butch lesbian villain? They already have a butch superhero, from the preview image it looks.

One could argue that if everyone of these characters was “normal”, aka like I since I can’t exactly be this flamboyant in my area, then it would be ignoring our “culture”. Plus, this is a comic. They exagerate EVERYTHING- regardless of gay or straight.

plus… superheroes already wear tights and underwear on the outside and so forth. You really can’t say “OH MY GOSH, THEY MADE THEM LOOK SO EFFEMINATE”. Woe.

It’s only a stereotype if one subscribes to narrow notions of LGBT people.
If we believe in equality, then surely, all personalities should be welcome?
Camp, butch, neither or whatever – it’s all part of life.

  6. Really ? So badly written like that ? Comic books are well accepted when they are good. This doesn’t look good. This looks more like a parody of comic books.
