  1. We should protest that one single penny in aid goes to this country. We should do all in our power to have all international aid cut with immediate effect. Let the Christian Right replace that money out of their own pockets. This is one sentence too far!
Boycott and exclude this country from all civilised exchange as a minimum condition of reform in that vile place. A Presidential Pardon is an immediate requirement for these two entirely innocent individuals.

  2. Enough of the expressions of dismay, it’s time to apply firm threats of sanctions that will be followed through.

All countries in the western world , but especially the Commonwealth countries; should cut all aid & not renew it until the laws of Malawi change. I agree completely with the boycotting and exclusion of Malawi from all civilised exchange ; such that it sends a message to other African countries with such primitive discrimination.

It has disturbed me all day after hearing the shocking news about the barbaric treatment from the authorities in this primitive country. However, what many people fail to realise is that this movement was started by the far right extreme evangelicals from Satan’s country, America. The religioyus bigots failed dismally to start the same kind of persecution in the states, so they moved in to Africa where it was easier for them.
PLEASE ALL GAY MEN AND WOMEN boycott America and Africa. DON’T GO THERE FOR HOLIDAYS AND SEND AS MANY LETTERS as you can TO YOUR MP’S OR WHOEVER, TO TRY AND GET THE RELEASE OF THESE POOR GUYS. Remember it may even start happening in this country. After all we have some distrubing homophoic ministers in the new Tory government, however much the Home Secretary Theresa May and her prejudicial colleagues protest. Be Warned!

“Britain has a close and strong partnership with Malawi …..”

Yep about £312 million in aid worth or ‘strong’ ties.

What expressions of dismay? A joint statement from three junior ministers? Where’s Hague, Cameron and Clegg on all this? To busy getting up the ar*es of the French and Americans it seems.

  7. Anti-gay laws in Africa are product of American religious exports, say activists (The Times)
