  1. Take note labour/Brown ! – if Argentina can get this far in rationally discussing gay marriage then there simply is no excuse for you to leave it out of your LGBT manifesto…relgion , haven’t you noticed the majority don’t go to church in the UK…. I guess they won’t recognise the British CP if they pass the law since we all know, except youselves, that they aren’t legally or socially the same thing…. Labour for gay Equality , bah!

  2. Good luck, Argetina! I hope for good news soon!

  3. Well done to Argentina.

  4. What a disgrace Brown and Cameron are! They’re both completely out of touch with what’s going on in the rest of the world on this one issue alone. Typically insular British attitude! Its quite clear neither has grasped the concept of FULL equality unlike Clegg and don’t see the larger picture and the implications thereof. It is delusional to expect the rest of the world to recognise civil partnerships which will NEVER be the universal standard for gay people, no question about that. If they were, then there wouldn’t be 8 countries allowing us to marry, hopefully 10 with Argentina poised to making it legal and Finland in 2011. Cameron has absolutely NO excuse now and Clegg should raise the issue. Just because some of us don’t give a damn about it or oppose it, doesn’t make it right to deny us that freedom of choice if FULL equality is our goal. Until that happens, we will remain second class citizens.
